At left,  damaged pick up truck, and remnants of  power pole, at aright, BC Hydro arrives-photos 250News.Prince George, B.C. – Expect some traffic delays on Queensway at Quadrant in Prince George  this hour, as BC Hydro  replaces a power pole that  has been wiped out.

A pick up truck  sheared off the pole in a collision this morning.  While the driver of the pick up  did not sustain  any serious injuries, the pole  was destroyed.

BC Hydro  arrived on scene to find the  top  half of the pole suspended,  held up only by the  wires  it was connected to.

It will take some time for BC Hydro  to  replace the pole,  there is no immediate  estimate of when that work will be  completed
