Cougars Blast Blazers
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Cougars made amends for a tough loss Friday by blasting the visiting Kamloops Blazers 7-3 last night before 3,333 fans at CN Centre.
Brad Morrison , Jansen Harkins, and Jared Bethune led the way for the Cats with three points each.
Blazers goalie and Friday night’s second star Connor Ingram was pulled mid-way through the second period after letting in four goals on just 18 shots.
At the other end of the rink Ty Edmonds got the win for Prince George, his first start in over two weeks after suffering a lower body injury versus the Edmonton Oil Kings.
The Cougars outshot Kamloops 41-27 and picked up three of a possible four points in the weekend series.
The victory came on Northern FanCon Night which made for a festival like atmosphere at the rink.
The Cougars encouraged fans to wear costumes, ride the Fanboni and take part in fun activities before the game and in between periods.
They also unveiled their third jerseys.The Cougars take to the ice again Tuesday when they host the Portland Winterhawks.

What a great game. Lots of action on and of the ice. Good job done by players and Cougars management for an entertaining evening. As a seasons ticket holder I have seen the change. Thank you.
Was a great game.. so nice to leave after a win with everyone so happy.. very nice change.. as for the Fan-con promotion there where some excellent costumes.. nice to see what a good owner can do.
Couldn’t make the game unfortunately. The jerseys looked good on TV though.
