Prince George, B.C. – Here’s an opportunity to support a worthwhile program of the Prince George RCMP while at the same time supporting a local business.

This afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, the Prince George RCMP’s Victim Services Section will be taking part in a fundraising event at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, located at 149-1600 15^th Avenue in Parkwood Mall.  Therapy Dog ‘Max’ and other members of the Victim Services team will be there providing information, and a percentage of sales for the entire day will be donated to Victim Services.

Victim Services units help victims of crime deal with tragedy or trauma by providing crisis intervention, emotional support and information about the criminal justice system.  This event will offer an opportunity for the public to expand their scope of knowledge in relation to the issues victims of crime face, as well as the role Victim Services plays for Prince George citizens.
