Prince George, B.C. – Northern Health is providing an update on the power disruptions which are affecting some services at University Hospital of Northern BC.

NHA says maintenance work continues and further partial power outages at the hospital will occur until Sunday evening.

Required maintenance on the information technology systems, including websites has been completed.  However, due to the partial power outages that will continue to occur, and as staff work to get all of the systems operational again, there may be some temporary disruptions in information technology systems, including the Northern Health website.

NH says UHNBC staff and physicians are working hard to care for patients and members of the public are still being asked to avoid the hospital during this time, unless it is an emergency.
