Santa Ski at Otway
Prince George, B.C. – What do you do when there’s no snow to ski on? Well, how about trying a hike.
It’s Santa Ski time at the Otway Nordic Centre and, despite the lack of snow here so far this fall, Santa, Mrs Claus and some jolly elves will be visiting the Biathlon Cabin later this afternoon and everyone is invited to take part.
Should we happen to get some snow by 4pm today, you could ski or snowshoe along the lit trails to find the North Pole from 4 to 6pm. If there is no snow, well, it’ll be a nice walk.
Trail users must show their day pass or season’s pass. If you don’t have a season’s pass you can get a complimentary day pass by dropping off a donation to the Salvation Army at the Giving Tree in the Rotary Lodge between 3:30 and 5pm.
