Prince George, B.C. – Two missing people have been found safe and well.

Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says the pair, both in their 20s and from Vanderhoof, went missing Saturday night while driving the back roads from Prince George to Vanderhoof.

He says police received a call from one of the missing persons at 12:45 today who said they were on the Batnuni Forest Service Road where a truck driver located them with vehicle trouble last night and took them to a nearby camp for the night

17 members of Prince George Search and Rescue (PGSAR) were involved in the ground search plus SAR members from Quesnel, and the Nechako Valley.

One helicopter and two planes were also deployed.
