Thursday, December 24, 2015 @ 1:42 PM

Prince George, B.C.- The Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign needs to raise  just under $17 thousand  dollars today,  to reach its goal.

The goal set for the Kettles   is $250 thousand dollars, and as of  this morning,  $233,089.27  had been donated.treeoflights20152.

The campaign comes to a close    later this afternoon,  and final numbers will be available early next week.

The Tree of Lights campaign  has  raised  about $23 and a half thousand dollars  so far.   Last year, that campaign  brought in  nearly $33 thousand  dollars.

All money donated  goes towards Salvation Army  services and programs in  Prince George.

This year I decided to give to the Prince George Native Friendship Centre. Over the past year I have seen them demonstrate amazing kindness, generosity, and exceptional programming for “all people”, regardless of race, community of origin, etc. Big and small miracles happen there every day!
