100 Mile House, B.C. – A charge of First Degree Murder  has been laid against a 100 Mile House man  following the death of a 37 year old woman.The  woman’s body was discovered Tuesday, January 5th in her 100 Mile House  residence.

A suspect was arrested yesterday.

Charged with First Degree  Murder is  46 year old Michael Martel of 100 Mile House.

He appeared in  court  earlier today and has been remanded in  custody  until his next court appearance which has been set for January 12th.
