Prince George, B.C. – Ty Edmonds recorded his third shutout of the season to lead the Prince George Cougars to a 1-0 victory over the Victoria Royals in front of 2,717 fans last night at CN Centre.
Jesse Gabrielle scored the game winner 1:16 into the third period with Chase Witala and Brogan O’Brien picking up the helpers. The Cougars outshot the visitors 41-38.
The win puts Prince George into a second place tie with Victoria in the B.C. division (though PG has two games in hand).
