Crime Stoppers Month Underway
Prince George, B.C. – 2015 proved to be another successful year for the Prince George Crime Stopper Society.
In all it received 565 tips, resulting in 28 arrests, 13 approved awards (for a total of $2,265 in approved award money) and nearly $50,000 in seized property and drugs.
Since its inception in 1991, the Prince George Crime Stopper Program has brought in over 11,000 tips, almost 1,500 arrests and over $36 million in seized property and drugs.
January is Crime Stoppers month, and to celebrate a great 2015 they have planned a series of events with a chance to win prizes around the city.
It all starts tonight when they attend tonights Prince George Cougars/ Victoria Royals game at CN Centre.
On January 23, they’ll be at the Northern Sport Centre cheering on the UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball games.
And on January 30, they will be at the Spruce Kings/Merritt Centennials game at the PG Coliseum.

- By submitting a typed tip online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca
- By texting “PGTIPS” and the information you’d like to provide, to 274637 from any cell phone.
