Police and the owner, attended the home this morning where they found a pile of stolen property outside, and suspected stolen property inside.
Police also found hundreds of hypodermic needles and a small amount of cocaine. ( at right, two of the hundreds of needles located inside the home)
“This has been a problem residence, and was well known to police” says RCMP Constable Sonja Blom.
A 40 year old male, and 22 year old female, both known to police, were removed from the home, and are in custody.

A front end loader was put to work to clear the debris at the end of the driveway.

That’s interesting. Most of the time a landlord has trouble evicting someone the police refuse to help claiming it’s a civil matter. I wonder who this landlord knows?
findme. I think that they were staying in the house illegally, as the article states they were unlawfully inside the home.
Perhaps it’s time the the needle exchange went back to it’s roots and became an actual exchange program instead of just handing the needles out.
“…..where they found a pile of stolen property outside”
How do they know if a pile of garbage is stolen? Has somebody reported their pile of trash missing?
Another news site reports that they were squatting in the home. That would make your day as an owner of a home, come to check on it and find you have tenants
