Prince George, B.C. – Emergency personnel are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 97, north of Prince George.

Details are very slim at this time however initial reports indicate that a head-on collision occurred on the highway a short time ago in the Salmon Valley area.  It is believed there are injuries in the accident.

Highway 97 is blocked to all traffic at this time.
