Crash Closes Highway 97 North of 70 Mile House

100 Mile House, B.C. – A collision has closed Highway 97 in both directions 20 km north of 70 Mile House this morning.

No word yet from drivebc.ca as to when the highway will reopen though a detour is available. We’ll provide more information as soon as it becomes available.

and by sand, I’m hoping that somebody figures out that sand does not mean 1/2 inch or larger rocks!!
