Police Seek Robbery Suspect
Prince George, B.C.- Shortly after 9 last night, a lone male wearing a mask entered a liquor store near 5th and Carney Street and demanded cash. The man was handed some cash, and he fled the scene.
Prince George RCMP attended the scene, and while a male who had been in the liquor store at the time of the heist was found in the area, police don’t believe he was the one responsible for the robbery. However, he was arrested on outstanding warrants and will be held in custody at least until he appears in court.
Meantime, police are hoping the public can help them identify and locate the robber.
The suspect is described as:
- Male
- Approximately 178 cm (5’10”)
- Medium build
- Wearing black pants, black jacket and a ‘human looking’ mask
- Holding a black back pack
Anyone with any information on this robbery, or the suspect, is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477
