100 Mile House, B.C. – The person killed in a motor vehicle crash near 70 Mile House on January 19, 2016 has been identified.

The BC Coroners Service says he was Drago Bjelica, aged 74 of Lillooet.

Bjelica was the driver and sole occupant of a northbound pickup truck that was in a head-on collision with a soutbound pickup truck on Highway 97 near the 80 mile mark that morning.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
