AQ Advisory Lifted for Vanderhoof

Vanderhoof, B.C.- Vanderhoof can breathe a little easier. The Air Quality Advisory that was issued for Vanderhoof has come to an end.
The levels of PM2.5 ( fine particulates) have dropped to 21.7micrograms per cubic metre (µg/m3) the Provincial target is less than 25 micrograms per cubic metre.
Changing weather conditions allowing improved air movement are being credited with the air quality improvement.
