Doucette Realty Donates Over $10K to Hospice Society
Prince George, B.C. – The sales team at Doucette Realty opened up their wallets and their hearts to an important cause today.
The local real estate company donated over $10,300 to the Prince George Hospice Society (PGHS).
They raised the money by donating a portion of the commission from each house sale to the cause.
“I think we’re all touched by Hospice in some way by somebody we’ve known out there,” said Martin Doucette. “And we felt it was the proper place to go.”
It’s the second consecutive year Doucette Realty has donated to the Hospice Society, now having raised over $17,000.
“Again, I’m overwhelmed by the generosity of the community,” said PGHS executive director Donna Flood. “When the community steps up like that, it really ensures that Hospice is able to continue to do and provide the care that we give to the community.”
She says the donation will go towards the $750,000 Hospice needs to raise each year in operational needs.
