Prince George, B.C. – Last night’s apartment fire on Spruce Street has turned into an arson investigation.

“Investigators believe the fire to be suspicious in nature and are investigating it as arson at this time,” says Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass. “Further updates will be provided as they become available.”

The fire, which broke out just before 11 p.m. at an apartment complex on the 1800 block of Spruce Street, sent an adult male to hospital for treatment.

There were no other injuries and the blaze was contained to one unit.
