Prince George, B.C. – We can all breathe a little easier today.
This as the Ministry of Environment just lifted the dust advisory for Prince George.
According to air quality meteorologist Gavin King, the current 24 hour average of coarse particulates (PM10) is 48.8 micrograms per cubic metre, just below the provincial air quality objective of 50 micrograms per cubic metre and one hour average concentrations have dropped to 25.3 micrograms per cubic metre.
He says forecasted precipitation will also help to clear dust from the air.
