Drug Bust at PG Park
Prince George, B.C. – Two people have been arrested following a drug bust in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.
RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says it happened yesterday as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
He says the Street Crew Unit acquired two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrants, one for each of the suspect’s residences located in the Queensway area of the city.
Douglass says meth and coke were seized along with drug trafficking paraphernalia and other evidence.
He says a 38 year old man was held in custody overnight and will appear in court later today.
A 44 year old man was released on a promise to appear for a future court date. Both are from Prince George.
Douglass says the search warrants were supported by information provided by police by concerned citizens in the area.
