There seems to be many people that hide behind their keyboards that are there for nothing more than trying to upset people with their childish behaviour and the owners of many websites appear to allow them free reign in doing so. Of course, more tax revenue and the price of liquor has been going up steady, you can still buy a 30 pack of Bud in the States for under $20.00 here in BC a 24 is $33 . BC = Bring Cash

US national average about 1.81 us gal. That’s 3.8 litres or .48 US per litre. About .66 C$. So, not double, but definitely more.
Some reasons. We have road taxes, carbon taxes, transit taxes in our fuel.
They have 300 million people in an area smaller than us. So our transport costs of fuel are much higher. Their refineries can have 30 million people all within trucking distance.
They use pipelines more than we do.
Our government doesn’t sell fuel, it adds taxes to fuel, taxes that then build roads, hospitals, schools. If you want to give up government services, you can have cheaper gas.

with this new “carbon pricing mechanism” the federal and provincial governments have been meeting about in Vancouver… will that mean we in BC will just have another carbon tax added to the one we already have,

Are they going to police themselves? They are the WORST for distracted driving. Don’t give me the bull about them being trained to do that, cause that is simply not true. No one can be trained to text and drive, or call and drive, its ludicrous to think so. They just happen to get a free pass like every other thing they “do as I say, not as I do”
Countless times i see them driving while using their mobile computers, talking on the phone laughing, not using turn signals and speeding over the posted speed limit none of which happens using lights and sirens, (which is law in order to break BC motor vehicle rules) so they themselves are breaking provincial laws but not fining themselves.
Earlier this week, I saw a CN Police person driving down foothills blvd talking on his phone, driving over the limit, then turned right on university way to climb the hill, and didn’t use his signal to let drivers behind him know he was turning.
I suggest the Prince George RCMP start to practice what they preach before fining other drivers. They too are issued a license to drive as a privilege, not a right.

When is the City going to start clamping down on residents who store there trailers longer than 18 feet stored at the front of their property? There is a guy up here on the Hart that has stored his extra stuff at the front of his residents since the bylaw was introduced, and yes he has been reported and no response from the city.

4 things that get under my skin:
1) people trying to squeeze by when making a right hand turn when there is no right hand turn lane.
2) people driving around with the disabled sign hanging from their mirror. I am starting to think everyone is a hazard on the road.
3) driving around in the daytime with your fog lights on.
4) people not using the cross walk device between the Pine Centre and PGSS on Massey. Someone is going to get run over.
Thank you for reading this and letting me get it off my chest.

I agree with Willytrock.
Norther Citizen, the reason it is obnoxious to squeeze by on the right is wrong on so many levels.
1) It messes up the intent of the design of the intersection and traffic flow. If the road engineers meant for a right turn lane, they would have designed one.
2) Safety. Many times an idiot squeezing between the curb and the vehicles sitting in the right lane cannot see the pedestrians crossing legally in front of the stopped vehicles and I’ve seen so many near misses of people just clearing my front bumper to be met by these toads spiking their brakes.
3) Theft of right-of-way. What if you are in that right lane stopped at a light, second or third vehicle in line, and you decide to change your mind about the route you want to take and flip on your signal to make that right turn onto that street to be blocked by these people in vehicles populating an imaginary lane to your right and denying you that option? Up until the cross walk line, it’s YOUR right-or-way!
4) Damage from sheared off passenger side mirrors by vehicles driving on your right. Poor judgement of clearances, hazards in the curb causing a swerve, a bank of ice and snow.. etc. I’ve seen this accident personally 3 times in two years.
5) Sharing a lane with traffic. I’ve been third or fourth vehicle and in a line behind a red at 15th and Ospika. All of a sudden two cars and three pickups line up in the imaginary curb lane to my right. Traffic volume crossing in front stops them from making their right turns. Light turns green. All of a sudden two lines of traffic are moving together in the right lane. It’s a bit unnerving. See items above as to why this is bad.
This behaviour is lazy, entitled, obnoxious and impatient and I’d like to see it ticketed.

Approach of emergency vehicle
177 On the immediate approach of an emergency vehicle giving an audible signal by a bell, siren or exhaust whistle, and showing a visible flashing red light, except when otherwise directed by a peace officer, a driver must yield the right of way, and immediately drive to a position parallel to and as close as possible to the nearest edge or curb of the roadway, clear of an intersection, and stop and remain in that position until the emergency vehicle has passed.
It’s in the MVA. That’s pretty close to stone.

It is not illegal to turn right at an intersection if there is room to do so beside a car that is going to move straight through.
When coming to an intersection like that and I’m going straight through, I always move to the left of my lane so people can do that if they choose. I think its just common courtesy to not hold up people unnecessarily.
What bugs me is someone driving a five foot wide car that can’t seem to put it through a nine or ten foot wide space.
I will block a right turning vehicle only if there isn’t safe room for them to pass me.
Common courtesy.
Seems like it isn’t so common.

165 (1) If the driver of a vehicle intends to turn it to the right at an intersection, the driver must cause it to approach the intersection and then make the turn as close as practicable to the right hand curb or edge of the roadway.
It is legal to turn right when there is no turn lane. If a person ahead of you is turning right and you have a green light do you stop until his turn is completed? If he is next to the curb like he is supposed to be you at most move to the left portion of your lane. Move a little left if you are stopping for a red light and will never have to worry about side mirrors unless it’s a dodge dually coming up from behind.
Posted on Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 3:04 PM by axman with a score of 0
That doesn’t say anything about creating an extra lane which is what people are doing. There’s not enough room in the lane for 2 regular sized vehicles to occupy it simultaneously. If you’re swinging to the left to avoid a person turning right I’m pretty sure you’ve entered the left lane.

Well the pinheads want to foist another tax on us, a carbon tax, or C02 tax or stupidity tax or what ever. They get so confused and irrational so easily.
There is no verifiable, reproducible scientific proof anywhere showing mans miniscule contribution to an atmospheric trace gas has any effect on climate what so ever, none nada.
C02 is essential to life, without it life dies. Before the recent rise the earth was getting so low on C02 plants where starting to get stressed. Since the recent rise the earth has greened over 30%, more plants, more food is that a bad thing. Plants evolved with c02 levels much higher that is why c02 levels in green houses are high.
The amount of C02 in the atmosphere is .04?, yes a whole whopping .04% of atmospheric gases, Canada’s portion of that .04% a whopping 2% wow even if anthropogenic c02 had an effect our pinheads want to tax us for 2% of .04%
Oh by the these figures never seem to be mentioned in the press releases. Another thing natural C02 is 6 to 7 times greater than mankind’s contribution.
Carbon tax I call it pinhead tax!

Just thought I would share something I seen on the news just now. Most everyone knows about the annual Iditarod Dog Race up in Alaska, well this year it was such a warm winter they have to ship snow to the start of the race in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Apparently, this is the third year in a row that the lack of snow has disrupted the Iditarod. In 2014, low levels of snow on parts of the trail caused injuries to mushers. Last year, the low levels caused the race to move 225 miles north to Fairbanks. I guess Fairbanks, Alaska is not far enough north now… what’s next the North Pole?

The drop in coal prices is due to a combination of US government restrictions on coal useage, an overabundance of cheap natural gas due to fracking and a downturn in industrial activity, especially in China. Because coal is plentiful and cheap it will continue to be used in parts of the world where global warming insanity doesn’t rule.

A friend was driving in the left lane when a police car suddenly appeared with sirens and lights flashing.
The friend tried to move into the right lane as fast as possible. The police officer was not too pleased that he had to slow down and the friend got a ticket for obstructing an emergency vehicle.
The friend went to court. The judge ruled in favour of the police offer and stated that when you are driving in the left lane you have to stop in the left lane and let the officer pass. Therefore, it ain’t over until the judge sings. Not often a judge will rule against a police officer. It is kind of a “buddy buddy” system.

Here’s a little something just for Ataloss.
You used the excuse that there’s so much irrefutable evidence supporting the idea of humans causing dangerous global warming that it would be difficult to put even a little bit in one of these posts, as a reason for not attempting to defend your position. Well you don’t have to put it all here, just post a snippet that supports you.
I’ll give you an example how it’s done.
The capacity of CO2 to absorb and emit infrared radiation (radiant heat) is well known. If that’s all there was to it, you’d be right.
But wait, there’s more.
That heat comes to us from the sun, passes through the atmosphere and is absorbed by the surface of the planet. As we all know, anything that absorbs heat also emits heat, so the planet radiates heat back out to space. As it passes through the atmosphere some of it is absorbed by CO2, the so-called greenhouse effect.
But, you’re wondering, why didn’t the CO2 absorb it when it passed through on its way from the sun? Good question, glad you asked. The infrared is a spectrum similar to visible light. Only a small portion of that spectrum can be absorbed by CO2, the rest has no effect whatsoever. But for some reason, when the planet emits that heat back to space, a small amount of it has been converted to that small portion and that tiny bit is all that warms the CO2. With CO2 at 400 ppm, almost every bit of that particular infrared is already being absorbed. Adding more CO2 will have an immeasurable effect because there’s virtually nothing for it to absorb.
There, see how easy that was? Your turn, show me where that’s wrong.
Oh, and since you’re so big on books, read “Climate, The Counter Consensus” by Robert M. Carter in which he explains the science. I guarantee, anyone who reads it will be a skeptic.

I think it’s funny how science is only valid to you anti-global warming types as long as it supports the preconceived conclusion that man generated global warming doesn’t exist.
There are plenty of scientific organizations such as NASA and the NOAA that are presenting evidence that we are having an effect on our global climate.
However, people like you and seanutt will just keep trying to convince us that science is only on your side and that any science that doesn’t support your preconceived conclusions is in error or doesn’t exist.
Personally, I think we are having an effect but I’ve decided why worry about it. A species that is fully aware that there isn’t another habitable planet within millions of light years, but still insists on fighting wars and s***ing in its own nest until it becomes unlivable is beyond saving.

You are so wrong HaHa . Take out twenty minutes and view …… The case for optimism by al gore at Ted.com You’ll see how incredibly wrong the deniers are . And why the Kochs are freaking out to the point of paying hundreds millions to promote junk science . Can anybody see those 2000 coal fired power plants being built or just you can seamut ? Did you see the map of the USA with all the power plants being moth ball and or being canceled in Als Ted talk in Vancouver ? Or are you scared to watch it ?

Like Dirt man said, refute him you have not done that.
Oh by the way NOAA is under investigation for adjusting the numbers to make it warmer than it really is. They are also fighting FOI requests just like good ol Hillary.

Ataloss you still have nothing as usual, nothing just like your imaginary solar system. A quick google will give you the information about the coal plants.
If the Koch brother are such an influence how come they seem to be having no effect on the climate scam?

Actually, Hahaha, we’re open to any science, no matter what side it supports. The only reason I’m a skeptic is because the preponderance of evidence supports the “deniers”. I believed in man generated global cooling when that was all the rage, because I knew of no evidence that said otherwise. Then, almost overnight, they changed it to global warming and I decided to be neutral until I saw evidence one way or the other. I’ve since seen the evidence and made my decision on that basis. If you (or anyone) can show me scientific evidence that indicates I’m wrong, I’ll be happy to switch sides.
I’ve just presented some actual science. Don’t believe me, research it. Oh, sorry. Silly me, I thought for a second that you might actually be interested in the science, but obviously you’ve seen none and your opinion is based on blind faith.

I’m not scared to watch Al Gore. I just couldn’t care less to watch Al Gore or listen to anything that comes out of his mouth. I cannot take anything serious from a guy who makes thousands of dollars a year giving speeches on how we(meaning average peons) need to reduce our carbon emissions (meaning lower our living standards), all while flying around the world on jets spewing hundreds of tons of GHGs into the atmosphere and living in a house that uses as much energy as 20 average US homes.
It’s as ludicrous as listening to Leonardo DiCaprio, who owns 4 houses, flying all over the world in high style on Learjets, lecture us on how we need to save the planet from climate change. I don’t take advice from rich, pampered, elite, fat cat hypocrites. Nothing they say is worth listening to or taking seriously.

Robert M Carter is an fossil shill that works for the ultra right wing think tank The Heartland Institute . His postulations have been roundly condemned as junk science by the 97 % of scientists around the globe . It’s interesting that none of the junk science peddlers including you always leave out the hundred times more of a damaging than is co2 . That being fossil methane ( natural gas ) . That’s because every oil well , every coal mine , every gas well , every gas pipeline , every storage fesility leeks like a sieve . It ain’t safe ( radium ) and it sure isn’t clean . At least the car only burns 5% of the time . Gas burner in your basement , if you burn the stuff and all the schools ,businesses , et al , all burn the stuff all day al night long .

Methane gas has little or no effect because the spectrum where it would have effect is already used by C02.
Gore making his millions promoting the scam. How come if he is so concerned he charges a huge fee to save the world. On about cap and trade, the fees will go right into his pocket because of owning a carbon trading company. Ataloss should that not be a little suspicious to you, just a little bit. Oh the 97% of scientist thing you keep quoting was debunked as soon as it came out, try to keep up.

So, Ataloss, it would seem you’re totally unfamiliar with that well known bit of science I posted. I’m not surprise, you’ve never actually seen any of the science, have you? Just like Hahaha it’s a matter of blind faith to you.
Instead of arguing your case (because you can’t) you resort to ad hominem attacks on Dr. Carter. That’s no less than an admission that you’re wrong.
Professor emeritus Bob Carter (PhD) has never worked for the Heartland Institute. (Why do you lefties call anyone that disagrees with you ULTRA right wing?) He was (just recently died) a featured guest speaker at their conferences and the only money he got from them was for expenses. He bases all his arguments on the science. You can see that for yourself by going to YouTube and searching for “Bob Carter Climate Change – Is CO2 the cause?”.
A hundred times more damaging than CO2? Well, since CO2 isn’t damaging, a hundred times nothing is…nothing.
Actually what you were groping for is that methane is 23 times more heat absorptive than CO2.
Every oil well, every coal mine, every gas well, every gas pipeline, every storage facility leeks like a sieve? Who feeds you this stuff? No they don’t.
Despite its greater warming ability, there’s not problem from methane heating because there’s such a miniscule amount of it in the atmosphere. Methane concentration had been increasing for decades, but not any more. Why not? Because in the Soviet Union (socialists like you admire) only the military stuff was well built. Those Soviet gas pipelines that fed Europe actually did leak like a sieve, but when the Soviet empire fell and some common sense prevailed, the Russians realized how much gas revenue they were losing and repaired them.

@seamutt
I read a report regarding the possible use of methane hydrates as a fuel source. The material is found in huge quantities along tectonic plate lines and in permafrost. One of the biggest concerns in harnessing its use is the unintentional release of unburned methane into the atmosphere from mining operations, due to(and I know you won’t believe this) methane’s heat absorptive property being as much as 30 times greater than CO2, which makes it a powerful greenhouse gas. It is certainly not a gas that would have little effect.
I cannot believe how you people can so obliviously think that dumping increasing amounts of heat absorptive gases like CO2 and Methane into the atmosphere has no effect on heat retention. The more heat retentive gas that goes into the atmosphere, the more heat that can and will be retained. A person doesn’t have to have a PhD in science to figure it out, just some actual working grey matter.

What total crap about Robert M Carter not working for that institute. The man was receiving almost 1700 dollars a month from them and the man, himself, never denied receiving the money. A steady monthly stipend is more than “just expenses”. He was obviously acting in some capacity for them.
Also, from what I read, he “cherry-picked” his data to support his postulations.

hahaha methane in the lab, C02 in the lab, but out in the real world its a different matter. You do know the world was much warmer at different times in the past? How did it get cool, how did it get warm again and so on before man had any effect driving suv’s. How did the earth warm after the little ice age before man could have had any effect. most of the warming after the LIA took place before 1950, like I said before man could have had any effect.
C02 rise follows warming not the other way around about 800 years. There was a warmer time before the LIA, around 800 years ago. 1000 years ago the earth was 2 degree c more than now, then the LIA and the earth has not warmed to that previous level yet. There has been an ice age when C02 levels where higher than now, Warmer periods when C02 where lower. Plants love higher C02, life depends on it.
So you tell me how past C02 levels and Temperatures where higher, lower, before man could have had any influence? So you and Ataloss think these times are different but offer up no proof except schoolyard name calling, yep very mature.
Money is being wasted by these ignorant politician on these climate programs with no proof offered meanwhile my wife has to wait months in pain for a new knee.

Hubble telescope was used to find the most distant galaxy yet. some scientists question the data, that is how real science is done. But in climate science mainstream media, CBC, Citizen even this site do you ever see an alternate view point, nope. Ask yourself why not, there are thousands of scientist that question the consensus but then are called denier or some other names. The science columnist for the citizen has only the consensus view, that is not science, not one little bit.
Real science stands up to scrutiny, but when it come to climate science the greedy come out.

Ever looked at the price of fuel in the US? Its nice to know that our government taking care of us and charging us over double the price.
Of course, more tax revenue and the price of liquor has been going up steady, you can still buy a 30 pack of Bud in the States for under $20.00 here in BC a 24 is $33 . BC = Bring Cash
They’d have to pay me $20 to drink that Bud-crap. At least we have decent brewskis up here.
Yes, what a horrible govt and country that makes people pay extra tax for such essentials as booze. We all know booze never cost the medical system anything.
If you want to give up government services, you can have cheaper gas.
with this new “carbon pricing mechanism” the federal and provincial governments have been meeting about in Vancouver… will that mean we in BC will just have another carbon tax added to the one we already have,
that doesn’t work?
Yes
You bet. It’s going to change the climate, don’tcha know. Cool everything off, so we can use more fossil fuels trying to keep warm. On days when the sun don’t shine, and the wind don’t blow, and the wind chill factor ain’t 40 below.
The answer to both points is “No”. No, they won’t add to our carbon tax at the federal level, and no, it does work given that it has reduced the production of fossil fuels emissions by 16%.
Yeah, right! BC added 6 cents per litre and that had an effect greater than the 35 cents per litre drop in gas prices at the pump. Yeah, sure, that makes sense.
I sure hope the latest campaign by the RCMP sends a message! It’s just common sense to not be texting/talking on your phones as you barrel through! Specially if you’re in a chip truck at the 5th Ave intersection!!! DUH.
The problem with common sense is that it’s so uncommon. We’re in the age of entitlement, “me, me, me” is the mantra of the day.
You have the right to report them if you feel R.C.M.P. officers are breaking the law… call and ask to speak to the watch commander.
and as for the C.N. police, you can call C.N. and ask to speak to their supervisor.
Been there, done that. As with anything, nothing happens. Gotta protect their own.
“CN Police person”? Aah, the PC Generation at its’ best.
Bent my original post had the name posted, but it was removed because I named the person and apparantly 250 could be sued for it as could I. So it was edited by 250 to say CN Police person, although one can guess who it was as they have been here for a looonnggg time .
When is the City going to start clamping down on residents who store there trailers longer than 18 feet stored at the front of their property? There is a guy up here on the Hart that has stored his extra stuff at the front of his residents since the bylaw was introduced, and yes he has been reported and no response from the city.
I would suggest you just keep calling and reporting. They will get sick of it and action it. Perhaps email city council as well and task them with some action items.
probably never, that would mean bylaws officers would have to leave the office and probably get called bad names. and the P.T.S.D. claims would be horrendous.
Is it that big a deal? Regardless of the bylaw, why shouldn’t property owners be allowed to store an RV in front of their house? I don’t feel ratting on your neighbour over something so trivial is a good use of our tax dollars at City hall.

Is everyone aware, while driving down the Hart highway it is illegal to cross the solid line to enter into the Husky station near the scales? Why did they not block this off when they installed the meridian fro the lights at the Chevron to just North of the Husky station last year?
4 things that get under my skin:
1) people trying to squeeze by when making a right hand turn when there is no right hand turn lane.
2) people driving around with the disabled sign hanging from their mirror. I am starting to think everyone is a hazard on the road.
3) driving around in the daytime with your fog lights on.
4) people not using the cross walk device between the Pine Centre and PGSS on Massey. Someone is going to get run over.
Thank you for reading this and letting me get it off my chest.
lets add one more, people driving around with nothing but their daylight driving lights on , AT NIGHT…..they can see, sort of, but we can’t see them from behind until right on top of them.
For number 1, I just make sure I’m far enough to the right that they can’t squeeze in. Massey / Westwood and Ospika / 15th are the two places where I see this the most.
Why does it bother you so much that you purposely try to prevent someone from turning right while you are sitting at a stop light?(Obviously only if there is a enough room to squeeze by) What harm does it do to you if they are able to carry on with their day while you wait at a red light?!
There’s not enough room, that’s the problem. They either take out my mirror or ride over the curb.
Northern Citizen, it’s all about the me, me, me life that axman lives by
No, it’s all about following the rules so that society functions for everyone. The only “me, me, me” people are those self entitled dofusses who think they’re more important then the rest of us.
I had an ambulance with lights and siren on go by me on the right side at 15th and Ospika last week. He did not have to squeeze by me because I stay to the left of the lane.
You’re supposed to move as far to the right as possible when sirens are involved.
“You’re supposed to move as far to the right as possible when sirens are involved”
Actually, not every instance of an ambulance encounter on our streets is the same. Please explain why your rule is written in stone.
“You’re supposed to move as far to the right as possible when sirens are involved.” I didn’t have to move axman .That’s my point. There were 2 vehicles behind me that were also to the left side of the lane. I guess some people can only have power or control in their lives when they are behind the wheel pissing people off. Kind of like the a holes that yell at or be rude to servers in restaurants. It’s the only time they can be a big man without consequenses.

———
Huh? When have I ever advocated speeding? Quick answer for you, never.
I’m all for removing the stupid people from the road, that’s all.
Those don’t bother me at all.
But when it comes to drivers who don’t know what merge means (and they appear to be the majority) that really gets under my skin when I’m stuck behind them.
That doesn’t say anything about creating an extra lane which is what people are doing. There’s not enough room in the lane for 2 regular sized vehicles to occupy it simultaneously. If you’re swinging to the left to avoid a person turning right I’m pretty sure you’ve entered the left lane.
axman If I have a green light and another vehicle is up against the curb waiting for a pedestrian before completing a right turn I have no problem proceding through the light without encroaching on any other lanes driving the car or the full sized truck. You still sport the red “L” on the back?
Oh about cap and trade who makes the money, the middlemen, hint, Gore has gotten very rich.
The day before the First minister’s meeting on Climate change , First Nation’s were picketing outside demanding to be in on all Talk’s. The next day we find out the Minister’s were talking about introducing a Carbon Tax. No First Nation’s leader’s to be found ……….
I guess Fairbanks, Alaska is not far enough north now… what’s next the North Pole?
www. cnn.com/2016/03/03/us/iditarod-shipping-snow-irpt/index.html
Lots of snow out east, your thoughts. You should do some research on climate history, happened before. I guess you will be happy when lots of snow and forty below returns.

I guess the argument is that why are you in such a hurry that you feel it is ok to break the law. Do you feel that driving on the side walk or stopped in the bicycle lane is alright because you just want to turn right on a red light. What’s next driving on the wrong side of the street because there is less traffic.
The height of absorbedly, Alberta is shutting down its coal plants based on bad science. Billions to be paid out in compensation, billions in alternative power to shutter 18 coal fired plants while over 2000 coal fired plants are being built or planed around the world.
Alberta you think your power rates are high now, just wait, have a look at Ontario .
Maybe they can get electricity from the Site C dam when it is finished.
The Dow Jones coal sector index has suffered a 96 % drop since peak coal prices . Peabody energy alone is down 90% ( they are by a wide margine #1 ) . The number two producer arch coal has gone bankrupt . Coal fired power plants are going under around the globe . You must live in an alternate universe to believe coal is on the rise . You should invest everything you’ve got into the coal sector if your such a believer .
I think it’s a good thing to shut down coal plants. Pictures of the quality of air in China comes to mind.
The poor air quality is the result of poor design and industry making all your stuff with little or no regard to pollution. A coal plant with the proper equipment is very clean.
My wife just came back from the cemetery, placing flowers on our granddaughter’s grave, and she told me that all the trees in her area have been cut down.
Our daughter and son-in-law chose the plot due to the beautiful tree at the foot of the grave, and now it is gone.
Perhaps O-250 came do some digging into this and find out why – disease, perhaps, etc?? Was there any announcement about this, and if not, why was nothing said?
Regardless, this is heartbreaking to my wife and I.
So sorry to hear that HabsFans. The City should definitely consult with those who have loved ones buried there before altering the property. This is an issue of respect.
My heart goes out to you and your family habsfan . If it’s any comfort the town of Smithers is just as heartless . They mowed down the flowers on our daughters grave after fifteen years of us tending them . We were gutted . This kind of pain never goes away . Shame on them .
Whoever is voting thumbs down to HabsFans and the reply comments needs to get a life. Go look in the mirror to check and see if you’re still human!
Other day saw a little car that said “follow me to Northland Nissan”. So I tried, but I had to do so much cutting in and out of traffic to keep up, I got unnerved and gave up. Now I’ll never know where Northland Nissan is.
If you’re going to put your company name on your vehicle, remember, advertising can be both good, and bad.
Was it a Leaf? Haha
inconveniently located on Queensway…or so the advertising goes.
Carry on down Queensway until just before it curves and becomes Ferry , you will find it there…kitty corner to Raymond James.
I see a commercial vehicle driving like a fool, I figger he probably works that way too. Won’t contract their company. Thanks for the heads up on Nissan.
re Axman
A friend was driving in the left lane when a police car suddenly appeared with sirens and lights flashing.
The friend tried to move into the right lane as fast as possible. The police officer was not too pleased that he had to slow down and the friend got a ticket for obstructing an emergency vehicle.
The friend went to court. The judge ruled in favour of the police offer and stated that when you are driving in the left lane you have to stop in the left lane and let the officer pass. Therefore, it ain’t over until the judge sings. Not often a judge will rule against a police officer. It is kind of a “buddy buddy” system.
This was on the Rick Mercer Report this week. Go Cougars Go!!

ps: lose the space after : as per usual
Immeasurable??
I meant unmeasurable.
@ataloss
@dirtman
All you provided was elementary school level scientific trivia that proves nothing.
@seamutt
Once again, you have posted a bunch of nonsense. Where exactly do you get your scientific news from? The National Enquirer?
http: //www.factcheck.org/2015/02/nothing-false-about-temperature-data/
Educate yourself.
@dirtman
Actually dirtman, no you are not. But I’m not going to waste my time trying prove that to you. Anyone who thinks that CO2 cannot become a pollutant cannot be convinced by science, reason or any other means.
So where are the 2000 coal fired power plants that are being built ? I’ve tried to fact check and I can’t find them . Where can I see them ? Where did you see them ?
@seamutt
@dirtman
What total crap about Robert M Carter not working for that institute. The man was receiving almost 1700 dollars a month from them and the man, himself, never denied receiving the money. A steady monthly stipend is more than “just expenses”. He was obviously acting in some capacity for them.
Also, from what I read, he “cherry-picked” his data to support his postulations.
crusty Klark is on a spending spree,$500,000 on planes to photo ops….and 475,000 on the CREDIT card ….I bet she comes back for 4 more yrs….after Bobs yer Drunkels[SCAMBELL} pic plastered every where ..and you PPL still put em in…
Went for Walk in the Park by the river this morning, Its a real nice place to go for a walk but the sad thing is you have to dodge DOG poop. Exploration place is a nice place to stop, there is a nice large area to sit, but its to bad there is not a coffee bar or something like it for people . I think that should be looked into.
There is coffee and a few quick eats offered at the Museum.
Those that think we are not impacting global warming had better give their head a shake. Our transportation alone has a huge impact on global warming. Just because traffic is so light in PG watch the 6.00 pm news and see the traffic from the air in down town Vancouver where vehicles are traveling bumper to bumper.
Cheers
Proof?
I’m not sure, but it sounds like Retired 02 is saying that because there’s lots of cars on the road in Vancouver, that’s evidence that humans have a huge impact on global warming. No evidence presented that would explain just how that matters. Sounds like another uninformed sheeple.
A perfect place for you then 02 .. take one for the team ,
roll down your windows and take big breaths.
Ataloss showing your weakness in internet searching I now understand your outdated knowledge of cagw missinformation.
On the news tonight a young woman loses her job for using her cell phone when she should of being helping a child on a climbing wall. The woman was at fault but if this was my child I would have been helping her and worry about the cell phone user later.
We broke the 100 comment mark! Keep up the good work PG!
And with only 1 post from gus to help make that mark!
hahaha methane in the lab, C02 in the lab, but out in the real world its a different matter.
This C02 scam being perpetuated by the corrupt, someday I hope they are held accountable for crimes against humanity.
