Prince George, B.C. – Those looking for a ‘pawsitively’ good time ought to head to the Prince George Agriplex near CN Centre today.
Around 50 dogs of a variety of breeds and ages are on hand for Top Dog Agility’s ‘Almost Spring Agility Trial.’

The trial is one of several held each year.
“We run six trials a year locally,” says vice president Sheri Grantham. “We have judges from as far away as Duncan. We then have regionals in Langley this June. Those who qualify there go to nationals in Montreal this August.”
And more than anything, promotions director Marc Bernat says dog agility is just plain good exercise for the animals.
“It’s definitely a good way to get dogs out and having lots of fun. You end up developing a strong bond with your dog.”
Admission to the Agriplex is by donation with proceeds going to the Prince George Humane Society.
The money will be used for things like foster care and vet bills.
The trials run from 8:30 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m. today.
