Prince George, B.C. A dust advisory for Prince George has been issued due to high concentrations of PM10.
PM10 concentrations in Prince George have reached 53.2 micrograms per cubic metre averaged over 24 hours, exceeding the Provincial Air Quality Objective of 50 micrograms per cubic metre.
Current weather conditions in Prince George are clear and dry with gusty winds making lofting of winter traction material (the most common source of PM10 in the spring) highly likely.
These conditions are expected to continue until traction material is removed from the roads or it rains.
