Prince George, B.C.-  The winners  of last months  Fitness Marathon for Heart,  were picking up the hardware today.Members of  the team from  “Fit As a Fighter Fitness Centre”  took part in the   marathon that was held at the Northern Sport Centre. Team member Jason Keller says the Zumba  event was difficult, and the best parts of the event were the action “We are game to jump, slam even punch stuff,  so the harder the push, the more fun we had.”

The four  team members  are Jason Keller, Gabrielle Stojanovic Elaine Woo and  Kevin Chow.

It took a  couple of weeks to get their names engraved on the trophy  that’s why  the trophy was presented to them today.  They plan  on sharing  the trophy ,  each having some time with it to show off to family and friends, “Our kids are the most excited about  having the trophy  for a while” says Gabrielle Stojanovic.

And yes,  the team is already in training for the next fitness marathon event  hoping to defend  their  title.  The Fitness Marathon  was a  fundraiser  for the local Heart  and Stroke foundation.  The event raised  more than $3500.
