Blazers Beat Cougars 4-1, Clinch Third in BC Division

Kamloops, B.C. – The Kamloops Blazers clinched third place in the BC division last night by beating the visiting Prince George Cougars, 4-1.
The Blazers never trailed in the game taking a two nothing lead before Prince George’s Jansen Harkins potted his 24th goal of the year late in the second period to make it 2-1.
It would prove to be the Cougars lone gone on route to the loss. They were outshot 37-36.
The teams will wrap up their seasons with a mean nothing rematch tonight at CN Centre.
The loss means the Cougars will play the Seattle Thunderbirds in the first round of the playoffs.
They will start that seven game series on the road beginning March 25. By clinching third, Kamloops will play the Kelowna Rockets.

Watched the game last night! It was another game lost to stupid penalties!
Just like the March 9th loss to the Kelowna Rockets game! A game that we could have and should have won, if not for STUPID penalties!
Come on boys, the totally unnecessary and stupid penalties are killing you!
