Police Arrest Gas Station Robbery Suspect

Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP have arrested a suspect in connection with a gas station robbery last night.
Corporal Craig Douglass says police received the robbery report at approximately 5:15 p.m. from a gas station on the 1800 block of 20th Avenue.
He says officers arrived at about the same time the suspect was leaving the store and arrested the 53 year old Prince George male resident without incident.
Douglass says no weapons were used and no one was injured. Investigators do not believe the suspect is responsible for other recent robberies in Prince George.
The accused has been remanded in custody at least until his first court appearance scheduled for tomorrow.
The man’s name has not been released.
