Drug Bust in Quesnel

Quesnel, B.C. – Nine people have been arrested following a drug bust in Quesnel.
RCMP Sgt. Darren Dodge says it happened yesterday when the Crime Reduction Unit of the Quesnel RCMP successfully executed a search warrant on the 1100 block of Beath Street.
He says police found nine people inside the residence along with a quantity of coke and meth.
Dodge says police are recommending charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
He asks anyone aware of illegal drug trafficking in the City to call police at 250-992-9211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
The names of the accused have not been released.
