Man Missing

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP are hoping you can help locate 71 year old David Leonard Parker.He wandered away from the University of Northern BC Hospital late last night and has not been seen since.
Originally from Ft. St. James, he may be trying to get back home. He suffers from dementia and may seem disoriented or confused. He also takes medication regularly and family are concerned for his safety.
He is described as 6″1″ tall, around 195 Lbs, with short grey hair.
David was last seen wearing a camouflage hat, blue coat with fur on the collar of the hood, a grey T-shirt, tan coloured pants, and brown and black boots.
If you see David Parker please call the Prince George RCMP immediately at 250-561-3300 or 911.

Please tell me how someone who is admitted to our or any hospital that has dementia, has the ability to “wander” away. Hopefully he is found very soon.
They don’t have a ward with ‘lock down’ so it is possible for patients to wander off. Happened in another city to a relative in the same situation.
Some hospitals even send them on their way with PJ’s and cab fare at 3am.
