Prince George, B.C. – An appeal date has been set for convicted murderer Cody Alan Legebokoff.
Three judges with the BC Court of Appeal will hear the matter May 25, 2016 in Vancouver.
The appeal is focused on two matters, Legebokoff’s right to the counsel of his choice and on issues in the ruling on the application to have the multi-murder trial moved to Vancouver.
On September 11, 2014, Legebokoff was sentenced to life with no chance of parole for 25 years for the murders of four women – Jill Stacey Stuchenko, Natasha Lynn Montgomery, Cynthia Frances Maas, and Loren Donn Leslie.
The murders took place in 2009 and 2010.
