Search Warrant Leads to Drug Arrests

Prince George, B.C. – A search warrant yielded more than local Mounties were expecting yesterday.

RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says police were searching for 26 year old Prince George resident William Kristopher Littlejohn, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for Being Unlawfully at Large as a result of breaching his parole conditions.

He says the search warrant allowed officers access to a residence on the 2600 block of Quince Street where they found a 31 year man and a 35 year old woman and a quantity of heroin in plain view instead.

Douglass says Littlejohn was nowhere to be seen though a subsequent police dog search helped to locate him hiding in a crawl space in the basement where he was arrested.

He says the appearance of heroin allowed officers to obtain another search warrant which lead them to also find meth, cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia in the home.

Douglass says both the 31 year old man and 35 year old woman were subsequently charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and were later released on a Promise to Appear for court on June 1st, 2016.

Their names have not been released.
