Prince George, B.C. – A 44 year old man is in police custody following the execution of a search warrant yesterday.

RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says the man was arrested at a home on Shortt Road in the Stoner area, about 35 kms south of Prince George.

He says a canopy, tires and other stolen truck parts were located and seized and that the man was arrested without incident.

Shayne Delmar Pilon has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He will make his first court appearance today.

Douglass says the warrant was part of an investigation into a truck that was stolen from a property on Queensway on March 19th, 2016.

He says the truck was recovered two days later on the Willow Cale Forest Service Road, but was stripped of its parts.
