Prince George, B.C. – It’s ladies night at Game Quest tonight.

It’s a fundraiser for the first annual Northern Women’s Festival says media coordinator Laura Lawrence.

“It’s called ‘Night of the Valkyries’ and we’re partnering with Game Quest to bring more ladies into Game Quest.”

She says it’s a family event that will feature a kids table and prizes. Lawrence says tickets are available at the door (4158 Cowart Rd) or online. The event will run from 5-10 p.m.

Lawrence says the festival is happening July 29th to August 1st at Camp Friendship.

“The goal is to promote self-care and togetherness. We really want to create a space for women to come and spend time with each other and just kind of step back a little bit and address their needs and then reconnect with their families again after.”
