Saturday, April 2, 2016 @ 8:52 AM

Williams Lake, B.C. – Three people have been arrested in relation to a disturbance at a home in Williams Lake earlier this week.

North District Corporal Dave Tyreman says on Wednesday night the local RCMP received a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue where shots may have been fired inside the home.

Police believe the incident was targeted and gang related and Tyreman says the North District Major Crime Unit currently have three adults in custody (two men aged 21 and 27 and a 23 year old woman).

He says all three are potentially facing charges of discharging a firearm with intent and reckless discharging of a firearm.

They will appear in court in Williams Lake later this month – the woman on April 4th and the two men on April 14th.

Shortly after the incident a twenty year old man died of a gunshot wound in hospital.
