Tim Michalchuck left Prince George this morning and plans to walk all the way to Vancouver to help raise funds.

“Six years ago I was diagnosed with MS and since this past Christmas it’s progressed rapidly and I have lost all feeling in the left side of my body, my right leg and I cannot walk without a cane,” says Dickson.

“There are a few things that are being done in trials with stem-cell research I hope will help.”

She says Tim’s goal is to walk 35 km a day and aims to arrive at the MS clinic in Vancouver in about a month. Dickson estimates he will need to walk about 1,100 km in total.

She says they’ve set up a GoFundMe page for those interested in helping out.

LOL… this site cracks me up sometimes. The topic of “garbage” gets almost 40 comments yet someone who loves his wife this much gets no comments. Good on Tim Michalchuck for showing us all what it is like to be human…. hmmm… maybe thats why they call this a human interest story?
