Prince George, B.C. – The value of building permits in Prince George took a leap upwards last month, largely because of the one issued for the new seniors complex at 20th and Victoria.
The permit value for that complex was $20 million dollars, boosting the month end figure to $26,228,217.
Last year, the March value was just over $11 million, and it was $4.4 million in 2014.
Year to date, the value of building permits was sitting at $31,622,809 at the end of March. That compares with just over $13 million during the same period last year and just under $17.473 million in the same three months of 2014.

I like to see the jump by multiples of small projects, not just one big one.
