Police Seek Witnesses to Attempted Robbery
Williams Lake, B.C. – Mounties in Williams Lake are seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects involved in an attempted robbery.
Constable Andrew Waters says on April 10 police received a report of an attempted robbery just before 11:30 p.m.
He says an investigation reveals that at around 11:10 p.m. two men were parked in the 600 block of Carson Drive waiting for a friend when they were approached by three suspects who demanded their cell phones and money.
Waters says when the man entered the parking lot the suspects fled on foot towards Boston Pizza.
He describes one of the suspects as a Caucasian man, 20-30 years old, with possible tattoos or scars on his face. He also has blondish orange hair, is 5’11 tall and 140 pounds.
Waters says another suspect was an indigenous man around 20 years old, wearing all black – a black hoody, a black and white bandanna over his face, with black hair and bangs.
He says there was no description available for the other suspect. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
