City Parks Open Early

Prince George, B.C.- All but one of the parks, sport fields and public washrooms in the City of Prince George are now open for use.
The exception is Connaught Hill, which is having some road rehab and bank stabilization work done. That park should be open by the end of April.
Normally, parks and sport fields aren’t open for public use until the first of May, but for the second straight year, the early spring has pushed up that schedule.
The track at Masich Place Stadium has been open since mid March but the field, bleachers and washrooms are now open.

Great work on the part of city workers out there cleaning bleachers at massey etc. including removing winter gravel from grassy areas, sweeping the fields, picking litter. Without you our parks, ball fields and soccer fields would never look this good! A huge kudos to all of you.
And I am sure kudos back to all those of us who pay property taxes and rent to pay them for their work. :-)
goph2015, I was thinking something along the same lines although I’ll take it a bit further!
Our municipal employees enjoy above average wages, benefits and pension plans. For what we pay for them, we deserve and we should expect nothing less than “great work” from them!
gopg2015, sorry, darn typing errors with no edit function! goph2015 was not meant to imply that you are part rodent, haha!
