Prince George, B.C. – A number of homes have been evacuated in the Valleyview area of the Hart following a fire late this afternoon.
Prince George Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Cliff Warner says crews conducted a tactical evacuation with the RCMP “to be on the safe side” and says they are still in the process of extinguishing the blaze.
He says it’s too early to say how and where the fire started. We’ll have more information as soon as it becomes available.
