Scum.

Yes X2. At least he dropped the meat.

That’s a half decent photo. Someone will turn him in.

So he can afford a cell phone but not food.
Priorities a little mixed up.

Well known to police, violating some phony promise not to re-offend. The crown and judge will settle for a shoplifting gone awry because he was hungry. Because he is a ‘babe of the woods’ he will do less then 6 months then back to lifestyle. And now he’s got ‘status’ courtesy of the left wing supreme court so we can support him forever in a lifestyle far beyond what any Canadian pensioner has. He should try this stunt in Texas or Arizona…

What, no Hoodie??

Anybody you know carry a knife while shopping? I wonder why?

Should get at it and go hunt some moose.

We got a real problem in this town with trouble makers from the reserves coming to town with no consideration for others or ethical aptitude.

Last Saturday wife was shopping at SuperStore while I took the kids to the Peden Hill park. Bunch of first nations teens on the kids play park wouldn’t move to let my kids use the slide… kids mom was even there and she was just as oblivious. It wasn’t worth the confrontation (in front of my kids) so I just made it a teachable moment for my kids about walking away from idiots (which I would never do if I was a bystander and it was happening to someone else’s kids).

Then we go to the store and I’m taking back the shopping cart and some first nations lady in a brand new lifted up red chevy is tearing through the parking lot and screeches to a stop just short of running me down. What kind of idiot drives like that in a parking lot where a kid could easily step out from between cars. So she parks and her husband jumps out lighting up a smoke and puffing his chest up like what are you looking at sort of attitude. I just put my arms up like what the hell do you think I’m looking at….

So we go to Spruceland because wife needed something on sale at Save On and I’m watching a first nations guy pacing in front of the store approaching everyone for some change. Surfing the net on his smart phone while he would wait for the next shopper to come along… then gets a small handful of change from a lady and lights a smoke walking down the mall throwing little pieces of paper everywhere as he goes. Just completely ungrateful for the handout and disrespecting his surroundings in every way possible.

Then Sunday morning I wake up and find out a stolen car is parked across the street from my place. Window broken and cops find all sorts of weapons in the car (assault knives, machetes, and break in tools)… obviously with the intent to return. The young lady who’s car was stolen was out of work on a disability and it was a big loss for her. She said she heard them stealing her car the night before, but said they were gone before she could get out the door. Her house backed onto the RCMP station and the cops had up to ten cars after them with chase speeds she said of up to 150kph on Ospika… apparently they had them on the 7/11 camera as two first nations teens.

So its just getting ridiculous and the worst I’ve ever seen it in PG. Most of these crime spree types don’t even live in PG, just show up when the weather is great. Grew up on reserves where they were taught nothing of moral character and are shown by example how to hate the outside world making it easy for them to adopt a life of harming others and taking what they feel they deserve as theirs.

I grew up in PG and have first nations friends, family and acquaintances and honestly almost to a person they are decent people… but they grew up in the city and learned some social norms and turned out to be great people. These other ones though that only come to town to get involved in crime they are lost souls.

We might need to bring back the residential schools. Maybe not call them residential schools and definitely not staff them with pedophiles… but maybe bus them into better equipped local schools that can instill some better social upbringing in the ones that don’t have any positive role models from their reserve lives. Maybe we needs some sort of summer camps for the reserve kids? Its obvious their parents want no part in a good upbringing.

What ever it is Canada as a country is failing to address this growing problem and passing on a bad legacy for future generations unless something can be done about the lost generation of future criminals that are being brought to our cities from the third world slums of our reserve system.

IMHO

I couldn’t stop reading Eagleone’s comment. I really thought, any second, he was going to say “Just kidding! I’m not really a horrible, disgusting, stereotyping bigot!” But sadly no.

How on earth does observing the actions of others and relating them make someone a horrible disgusting stereotyping bigot? I found the post to be quite reasonable, and if it was a factual account of his observations, I don’t see the problem. Just because it happened to involve first nations and he dared say so? If those poor actions and behaviors were demonstrated by Caucasians and he said “Caucasians” there would be no uproar.

Seriously – the need to be PC all the time is getting old. Say it like it is for crying out loud.

Perhaps if you took the time to read the rest of his post, you would see that it is rather reasonable. I don’t necessarily agree with everything said, but he is entitled to his opinion and he expressed it respectfully.

    Just my opinion.

Here is a robbery of $6,500 in lottery tickets perpetrated by two Caucasians, there were seven comments and not one of them zeros in, or mentions, the fact that both suspects were Caucasian.

      www .250news.com/2016/04/13/thieves-cash-stolen-lottery-tickets/

But God help it if they were Native, all kinds of comments would be leveled at the race of the person(s), but being Caucasian, not one comment about race… EVER!!! So why is that??? Its racism clear and simple, we could have a hundred stories about white people doing crimes and no one would ever mention race, but when it’s an Aboriginal person the racists on here are all over it like “white on rice”.

I challenge anyone on here to go back years on this site on stories about white people perpetrating crimes to find any comment about the person(s) being white or caucasian. You won’t find any, but every time its a Native person you can bet the person’s race will be brought up vitually every time!!!

Well…unfortunately, Eagleone is not wrong. The same opinion is shared by most people in your part of the world… like it or not.

The balance is out of balance and there really is no hope for it to be corrected. Too late. Sad… but very true.

Eagle1 is venting his frustrations, obviously. He does not deserve being called names. We all live in this country breathing the same air. The whole reserve system is a leftover from the colonial times and the way empires were defended in a way where power was the number one priority and morals and ethics were violated. Hopefully in the not too distant future these reserves will become history, as will the classification of Canadians according to race and inherited genes.

I hope he gets arrested and we can find out what motivated him to show such complete disrespect for others and the law and change his attitude.

What’s the difference between this dude or watching Duffy walk with 4 charges dropped.

Duffy never threatened to harm anyone with a weapon. He stole “allegedly” yes, but he never threatened physical harm. He took 5 cents collectively out of all our pockets. We can all survive that easily.

If you ever have the misfortune to have someone point a knife at you, it’s not something you get over quickly, and you become suspicious of anyone who looks sketchy. This guy may have damaged one person significantly. And this is the situation we know about, likely there’s been more.

“An employee confronted the alleged thief, when the suspect pulled a knife.”

JGalt, I pondered the same thing. White people do commit crimes. But I didn’t see Eagleone’s post as a racist rant, I saw it as a fair statement.

He talks about a “group” that comes into town, causes problems, then goes back. He ponders solutions – but is this racism because he identified the group.

Well, what if it was a group of white Hippies. His post would likely refer to them as Hippies because that is one thing that group has in common, and they can be identified by the way they dress, and the way they behave.

A larger issue, is if I was FN living off reserve, regular job, family, paid taxes, and then reserve FN come into town acting inappropriately, I’d dislike them too, because, whenever people look at me, they give me the stink eye for what people that look like me did, but I am not them. And to me that is the sad part.

But talk to some downtown shop owners. They can’t get anything done during this period of time because they have spend the time preventing shoplifting. So there is a real problem, and I don’t know how you can begin to address it, if you’re not allowed to identify the group, and where the group comes from.

And Eagleone has a good question. How do you fix it, when the environment that causes it is rooted in reserve life, and appears to be self-perpetuating.
