Spring Cleaning Time — Outdoors

Prince George, B.C. – The city-wide spring clean-up is taking place in Prince George today, with residents encouraged to head outdoors and pick up litter in their neighbourhood.

You can register with REAPS at events@reaps.org or by calling (250) 561-7327 and you’ll be given all the free gloves and bags you require.  You can drop off the garbage you collect for free at bins set up around the city.  The bins are at the following locations:

 

-3rd and Watrous

-2nd and George

-5th and Killoren

-Ospika and Andres

-Park and Bunce

-Hudson Bay Wetland

-Blackburn School

-Hart Weigh Scale

-Hart Highway Plaza

-College Heights Secondary

 

These bins are provided for garbage only, do not place large household items or hazardous materials in them.  You can get rid of yard waste at the Quinn Street and Vanway Transfer stations as well as the Foothills Landfill.

Today’s Spring Clean-up is taking place from 10 am to 4 pm throughout the city.
