Prince George, B.C.- The  2nd Annual RONA Kutthroat Construction Competition  at  last weekend’s  Northern BC Home and Garden Show,  raised more than $30 thousand dollars.

Three playhouses,  built by three different  local construction  groups  with  materials donated  by RONA,  were up for silent auction on the weekend.  When the final  bids were in,   the    play houses,  had raised $35,425.  which will be donated to  the BC Children’s Hospital, Parkinson’s Society and the  YMCA of Northern BC.

The construction companies,  Crimson Projects,  MRC Contracting and Piche Homes, were also in competition  for the  most favourite home,  an honour that went to Piche Homes as  it  received the most votes and was named the 2016 RONA Kutthroat Construction Competition Champion.
