Prince George, B.C. – Two Prince George residents will be joining the Team BC Mission Staff  for the 2017 Canada Summer Games.

Emily Bluin and Cathy Johnson of Prince George have both been named to the Sport Mission Staff.    Mission staff members are responsible for administrative, logistical and performance  preparation support for Team BC’s athletes, coaches and managers  as they  prepare for and compete at the summer games.

“We are incredibly pleased to welcome such a talented group of volunteers to our 2017 Team BC Mission Staff”, said Chef de Mission, Rob Needham. “Our preparations are already well underway, and the diverse skills and experience of our mission team will ensure Team BC receives an elite level of operational support as our athletes prepare to perform at their best at the 2017 Canada Summer Games.”

The 2017 Games are being held in Winnipeg July 28-August 13, 2017.
