Prince George, B.C. – The 2nd annual Prince George Pet Fair brought the public together with pet rescues and shelters and pet-related businesses on Saturday and, while the human contingent may have gone wanting at certain times, the pet population kept up its end of the bargain.

The fair was held at the Columbus Community Centre and included the Prince George Equine and Animal Rescue Society, Morfee Mountain Animal Rescue, the SPCA, Two Bunnies Rescue, PG Humane Society, Ferrets North and Sunny Hill Animal Rescue.

The fair is a fundraiser for the rescues and lets pet owners know what is available within Prince George.

Some displays were also set up outdoors, for obvious reasons

To that end there displays set up by supply stores, veterinarians, kennels, trainers and people who operate home-based businesses.  Pet photos and nail trims by donation were also available.
