Williams Lake, B.C. – One person is dead following a single vehicle crash near Likely yesterday.

North District Corporal Dave Tyreman says a pick-up rolled over just after 2:40 p.m. on Spanish Lake Road.

He says officers arrived to find medical services staff performing CPR on a 30-year-old man who was later pronounced dead at the scene. His 31-year-old passenger was uninjured.

Tyreman says the cause of the crash is still under investigation but notes speed, alcohol, and drugs are being considered as contributed factors.

The man’s name has not been released.
