Prince George, B.C.- The entire community of Ft. St. James is without electricity and there is no idea on when electricity may be restored.
“We had a failure on a transmission line” says BC Hydro’s Bob Gammer ” Crews have assessed the damage and are making a plan to repair the problem.”
Power went out just after 10 this morning, when a piece of equipment on a power pole west of Vanderhoof failed. Just over 2,400 customers are without power, that includes all businesses as well as residential customers.
Gammer says at this time, there is no estimate of when the problem will be fixed.
