Prince George, B.C. – It could be 8 tonight before  electricity has been restored to more than 2400 customers in  Ft. St. James.

The  power has been off since  shortly after 10 this morning.

BC Hydro  says  it has  found a 1200 foot stretch of damaged line going across the river. Crews are on site initiating repairs and hopes are to have power restored by 8PM this evening.
