Vanderhoof, B.C.-  St John Hospital and Stuart Nechako Manor in Vanderhoof have some new pieces of equipment  that will enhance rehabilitation services.

Through donations,  the  Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation has provided a SteadyMate Walker, a tilt table, and a portable unit stocked with dumbbell weights, ankle and wrist weights, and resistance bands.  In total approximately $15,000 in capital and minor equipment purchases were made.

The new equipment expands the capabilities of the physiotherapy room, providing the team with the right equipment to serve residents in the care of Stuart Nechako Manor, patients of St. John Hospital and outpatients from and in the community and surrounding area.
