Prince George, B.C. – What a gorgeous day for enjoying the outdoors in and around Prince George.

Beautiful day for a run as well, and more than 450 people have signed up to take part in the 2016 Canadian Tire YMCA Road Race and Family Fun Run.  It all kicked off at Masich Place Stadium at 7:40 this morning as 51 competitors left the starting line in the 21.1 kilometre Half Marathon.

That was followed almost an hour later by the 10k and 5k races, all of the events taking part over their individual courses on city streets.

The Family Fun Run has an 11 am start and almost 200 people have signed up to take part.
