Toddler Enters Dore River

McBride, B.C. – Search and Rescue were called to the banks of the Dore River near McBride this morning to search for a one year old child that had somehow gotten into the icy waters.
Early reports to 250News indicate the incident happened around 11 this morning, and that the child was located about a half an hour later. The condition of the child is not known at this time.
RCMP are investigating.

That’s horrible. I have a 1 year old Grandson, they move quick and need constant supervision. I hope everything works out.
