Vandalism Spree Comes to End in Quesnel
Quesnel, B.C.- Two youths are suspected of being responsible for a spree of vandalism and theft that happened in Quesnel on Monday, July 4th.
Quesnel RCMP had received several reports of damage to and thefts from vehicles on July 4th. The incidents took place in the area of Reid Street, McNaughton Street and McLean Street.
In all, 7 vehicles and a home had been spray painted, 4 vehicles had been rummaged through and one vehicle has some contents inside set on fire. Police also recovered a car that has been stolen in Alberta and abandoned on McLean Street.
Officers dealing with a complaint at 10 Mile Lake on July 4th, came across two young males and the duo is now suspected of being responsible for the damage to vehicles in Quesnel and the stolen vehicle.
Police are recommending charges of Mischief, Theft Under $5000, and Possession of Stolen Property.

Mischief? Ha, How about putting them to work for the remainder of the summer fixing, repairing and paying for all of the damage they caused?
BYOB: Yes and put them in florescent green and orange striped coveralls, so everyone can see who they are.
You’d probably have to teach them to work first though.
I always thought flouresent hot pink was a good colour for convicts.
Back in my day, us kids were far more afraid of Mom and Dad than we were of the RCMP! Now Mom and Dad are more afraid of their kids, the Police and Social Services!
